In this article, the author looks into the lives of Burmese refugees in Morgan Country (in America). This article can be, potentially, very useful for our project as it will give us concrete research done with this group and their employment at a beef plant. Further, this article highlights the main resettlement areas for these refugees.

This article primarily talks about the Burmese refugees and their opportunities back home. The author emphasizes that the government of Burma has offered refugees employment if they were to come back home. However, many still choose to remain in the US, where they work menial jobs. This, as one can tell, can relate to our employment project very well!

Larkin's academic work brings to attention the plight of the Rohingya People, a specific group of Burmese refugees. Here, she brings up their struggle in Bangladesh and the troubles they have gone through while in the horrid refugee camps. Moreover, she highlights how this group has yet to find a place to call home, due to social and employment issues.

Though this is a short article, this can be very beneficial in our research. The main point made in this article is the process for refugees to be employed in America. This includes the different forms necessary and the benefits employers receive for employing refugees. As a side note, this read is targeted for Utah.

This final read is critical to our research. Though this article does not talk about the employment of refugees, it does highlight the tension between Burmese refugees and their host countries. In fact, the main point the article makes is that the host countries are affected politically, environmentally, and economically because of the refugees.
